At this time, I am legally unable to book and plan trips for Florida residents. I am happy to help families in all other U.S. states plan Walt Disney World, Disneyland, Disney Cruise Line, Aulani and Adventures by Disney vacations.

Does a Disney travel planner cost anything?

No. Our planning, booking and itinerary upgrade services are complimentary when you book your Disney vacation with Magic Moment Dreammakers. Magic Moment Dreammakers is paid a commission by Disney after you travel, so you pay the same price you would pay booking directly.

When should I book a Disney trip?

Book 6 to 12 months ahead for the best resort availability and free-dining or room-discount promotions. Holiday weeks, spring break and Disney Cruise Line sailings often need 12 to 18 months of lead time.

What is Lightning Lane and do I need it?

Lightning Lane is Disney's paid line-skipping system. Multi Pass covers most attractions, and Single Pass covers a few headliners. It is worth buying on busy days or short trips; on quieter days, a good rope-drop plan can get you the same rides for free. We tell you honestly which one applies to your dates.

Can you help if I already booked my trip?

Often yes. If your reservation was made directly with Disney and has not been paid in full, it can usually be transferred to us at no cost to you, and we take over the planning from there.

Which destinations do you plan?

Walt Disney World, Disneyland Resort, Disney Cruise Line, Aulani, Adventures by Disney, and special experiences such as ticketed party nights, character dining and behind-the-scenes tours.

Who processes the booking?

All trips are booked and processed through Boardwalk Travel Agency, a licensed travel provider. Magic Moment Dreammakers is an independent Disney travel planning service and Maddie is an agent with Boardwalk Travel Agency.

How much is the deposit for a Disney vacation?

Walt Disney World vacation packages typically require a $200 deposit, with the balance due 30 days before arrival. Disneyland and cruise deposits vary by package and sail date.

Is Walt Disney World or Disneyland better for a first visit?

Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida suits families who want a full week: four theme parks, two water parks and on-property resorts with transportation included. Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California is best for 3 to 4 days, is highly walkable between its two parks, and works well for West Coast families or a shorter add-on trip.

How much does a Disney World vacation cost for a family of four?

A typical week at a Walt Disney World value resort with park tickets runs roughly $4,000 to $6,000 for a family of four, moderate resorts $6,000 to $8,500, and deluxe resorts $9,000 and up. Travel dates, promotions, dining plans and ticket length move the number significantly, which is why we send a written quote with several resort options before you commit.

What is the cheapest time of year to visit Disney World?

Late January through early February, most of September, and the first weeks of December are usually the lowest-cost and lowest-crowd windows at Walt Disney World. Holiday weeks, spring break and mid-summer are the most expensive.

Do you charge a change or cancellation fee?

No. We do not charge change or cancellation fees. Disney's own resort, ticket and cruise policies still apply, and we walk you through them before you pay a deposit.
